A tale of two boobs: Part 2

2008
When I walked into the mammography room, I was told that there was an 85% chance that everything was fine.
By the time I walked out, that had been reduced to 10%.
I am 24 and my body knows how to make cancer.
Katie,
My whole family’s thoughts and prayers are with you!!! I hope everything turns out okay. God bless!

Katie,
I’m really glad they caught it early (especially since they caught it completely by accident!) and I hope it all works out for you. I am only an hour away and make it down to Wichita sometimes so let me know if you need anything. Like beer or chocolate :)

Katie,
I know we aren’t really in touch anymore but I saw this and I just want you to know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. Attitude is everything when it comes to this stuff- and you can and will fight this off, I know.

Hey Katie,
I’m so sorry you have to go through such a scary time. You’re such a strong person, and I’m sure this thing will be no match for you. You’ll be in my prayers, and I hope you’ll hear nothing but good news from here. Hang in there!

Hey, sorry to hear that you have to go through this. The words it brings to mind are “suck face”. My brother Peter had cancer in his thyroid gland. He was alright, except for the loss of his thyroid gland, which just means he has to take medicine for the rest of his life…
I hope and pray the best success for you.

Hey Katie,
Found you through StumbleUpon - Like you, I had cancer in my mid-twenties. I am now a healthy 47-year-old. You will make it through this. Email me if you’d like. All good thoughts to you.
