One month later
Dear RAZR,
I wanted you to know that I forgive you.
We had a bad week there, didn’t we?
Since then, I called customer service and they quickly got you ringing properly again. And I started to really enjoy your predictive text feature — much better than my old phone’s. And Monday night, I discovered a buried little setting that makes your stupid address book much less frustrating.
You still have dust under your screen and I still don’t know how it got in there. That’s my biggest complaint now. But if my biggest complaint is cosmetic, we’re clearly on much better terms than we were a month ago.
I’m sure you remember that I threatened to replace you with an iPhone. That was a little harsh. But now that there actually is an iPhone — and can you blame me for being tempted? — and I’ve got a decision to make. But I’ve always preferred a phone that’s just a phone, so let’s wait and see where we’re at in our relationship in June, okay?
Love,
Katie
Hahaha, I love it that you speak to your phone and refer to it as a person. I have the same phone but I have no complaints about it. Ofcourse we always will come across newer and more sleek and sexier models. But a good phone is hard to replace. I saw the IPhone and IAMDROOLING over it as well. It is a great looking thing.

i’m hopefully getting a new phone today. my old samsung (celebrated his two year birthday a little while back - and yes i know it’s a “he” because of his temper and behaviour!) has nearly no battery life left (read half a day), switches itself off at random intervals (but not so random as to not always do it when it’s most inconvenient!) and it generally worn out. i also prefer a phone to be just a phone, because until they can make a gadget that is a really good phone, camera and mp3-player i’d rather have three separate items. imagine losing all three at once!
