Yarn over, slip slip knit

I’m back on the knitting wagon.

This morning, I finished The Best Scarf Ever just in time to give it to Quinton for his birthday. Today, I have started started a lace scarf pattern that I wanted to try out in hopes of improving my lace skillz.

I’m using the recommended Brown Sheep Cotton Fleece in “New Age Teal,” but I’m not impressed with it so far. It unravels too easily and it’s un-scarf-ly.

I also bought supplies for The Best Scarf Ever: The Next Generation. I envision a scarf with pockets, eliminating the need for gloves. It will be awesome.

  3. You should post a pick of The Best Scarf Ever. I too will be starting a lace scarf soon… eep! Gotta finish an Xmas prezzie sweater first, though.. slow goings. I had a scarf as a kid that terminated in mittens on either end… unfortunately, it didn’t really work so well.
