RIP ‘Six Feet Under’

It’s no secret that series finales have a special way of turning this tough girl into a sobbing mess, and Six Feet Under’s last episode has rendered me quite useless.
I was introduced to the series by an old friend a few summers ago, and I’ve been an HBO evangelist ever since. I don’t think a show has ever broken my heart so many times, but that’s what I love most about it.
Sunday nights won’t be the same anymore.
Heading down to the parents’ TiVo to watch it was a priority for me after every trip this summer. I only started with the episodes you had on your computer last year, but I too was a mess for much of the episode and all of the final part. It’s kind of scary how attached I became after only a couple of seasons.
On a totally unrelated note, I’m back in Lawrence. We should hang out.

I totally know what you mean! It’s like me and Ryan and Queer as Folk…or Fat Actress…or Newlyweds…

You know, I’ve only been alive for a month, and I have no concept of the world outside of this dog’s stomach, yet I still find Six Feet Under pretentious.
