If I got money for blogging, I’d improve overnight

I got kidnapped by spies and that is why I have not blogged lately.
Actually, that’s not true. I haven’t blogged because I am a horrible person.
So, let’s recap the past couple weeks:
- I am allergic to winter and I sneeze all the time.
- People need to send me money because I need to convince the apartment complex people that I can afford a lease.
- My recent efforts to win the lottery have not panned out and left me $4 poorer.
- This is the story that rocked campus, and it was awesme.
- This is the story that rocked Kansas, and it was bittersweet.
- I passed my pap smear. My roommate questions the use of the term “passed,” but I think it applies. On a related not, I switched to the nuvaring for birth control. If any of my lady readers want more info on it, feel free to email me. I’m happy about the switch.
- I am sick of buying textbooks. It’s education’s greatest scam.
- J.J. Abrams Wednesdays (Lost + Alias, back to back) make my week. J.J., I want to have your cute little babies.
Speaking of getting money for blogging, have you seen Kotte’s idea? http://www.kottke.org/05/02/kottke-micropatron

Yeah, interesting experiment. I hope he’s successful with it.

as for BTK being news that “rocked kansas” i’d say it goes a bit farther - i heard about it up here on the national canadian french broadcast, as well as on MSN news. So yeah, big story. Personally, i’ve been shaken up since you blogged about it a year ago when he “resurfaced” and remember my mom being afraid about it back in the 80’s…. i’m happy that it’s come to an end.
on a side note, though… did we really bring BACK the death penalty in 94? good lord, talk about pedaling backwards.

i’m glad they think they have caught him, i remember reading the articles you linked some time back.
nuvaring sounds good, i read about it on the website you linked and if i was troubled by side-effects from the normal pill i’d probably try it. i use my pill both for birth control and against acne though, so i want to stay on it. has the nuvaring been proven effective over a long term? i have never heard of it before.

I am going to start the Nuvaring next week and want to know what youi think of it. I hated being on the pill because I gained weight and always forgot to take it. Does Nuvaring help with cramps? Are periods shortened? Does it make you more at risk for (ew) yeast infections? Seriously, I wanna know.
THANK YOU!

I love it. Definitely less cramps/PMS. Periods might be a little shorter, but I think mine are just a little lighter. I haven’t had any problems with yeast infections.
