  3. I absolutely loved your mix! I didn’t know anyone else had even heard of okgo and Muckafurgason, let alone Dressy Bessy and The Candy Butchers. I’m in the process of downloading the songs I don;t have to create the same mix. Genius! And that streaming thing? Awesome. I wish I could do the same for my friends across the world, rather than burning 19 of the same mix every week or so. Save on postage and CD’s.

  5. It’s really really easy. You’re probably familar with playlists, and most software creates playlists in a m3u format. If you open up the m3u file in Notepad, you’ll see that it’s simply a list of all the mp3 files. To stream on the internet, you just change those from the location on your hard drive to the URL for the file online (obviously, the mp3s have to be uploaded first to make this work). When someone clicks the link to the m3u file, Winamp or whatever mp3 software they have will stream the mp3s from the locations listed in the m3u. Make sense?
